Priorization of malaria drug discovery programs based on transmission capacity of resistance mechanisms
Marnix has earned his PhD in molecular microbiology at Wageningen University. He specialises in the molecular mechanism of the CRISPR-Cas gene editing system and applying his skills to the malaria drug discovery program, in particular he is working on transmission capacity of malaria drug resistance mechanisms. Marnix is intrigued by nature and optimistic about science and technology.
